They basically said that Chock was just being himself and doing what he does. Hopefully what he’s doing isn’t threatening – he should want to enjoy Joan’s personality without controlling her.

He may decide that the sacrifices he’s made just aren’t worth the price he has to pay. It can happen at any moment.
If he’s a real prince, he’ll stick it out, but reality TV guys don’t do that too often. There are so many differences. This is why Joan should be careful. People might want to push her into the wedding, but she should listen to her gut. If he doesn’t feel ready, he shouldn’t go ahead. Yes, these two are older, but there’s no rush. A human might prefer life before fame, as some trolls get most of their thrills as keyboard warriors. Chock might be shocked by their talk or bored by it – overall, he might find the private life more appealing. If so, he may drift away from Joan because of her reputation.
