After meeting face to face, Hannah didn’t feel that strongly about Nick as he did in the pods. She said that Nick had misled her into believing that he was a well-built guy and stated that he had misrepresented himself. From that moment on, her love seemed conditional and she never had anything positive to say about Nick.

It was hard to see how Hanna mistreated Nick. He did nothing but belittle her whenever he could. His view of marriage was wrong as Hannah sometimes acted like she was above him and at one point the mother was Nick. Hannah said she was self-sufficient and did all her work without help, which made her question Nick’s role in her life. It was obvious Hannah had a lot of maturing to do, even though she claimed to be more mature like Nick. Hannah was too critical of Nick because that’s how she was with herself. Nick had his problems, but there was a right way to handle things. Instead of giving him grace and constructive criticism, Hanna was always mean and rude to him. If Hannah was unhappy with Nick, as she claimed, he should have just walked away long before tagging his friends to continue beating Nick.

In one episode, Hannah asked Nick if he knew about stocks while bragging about his stock portfolio, and then treated him terribly because he didn’t understand investments. Hannah could have taught Nick about stocks, but instead acted like she was more financially literate than he was.
People who belittle others are often unhappy with their life decisions and sometimes feel stuck and bored. Therefore, their insecurities become loud and they use words that put others down to make themselves feel better. Hannah did it with Nick which was horrible to watch!
His fierce energy became self-sabotage, and she ended up projecting all her insecurities onto Nick. The Love is blind the participant also said mean things to Nick and disguised them as funny. His holier-than-thou attitude made him insufferable, but also exposed some deep-seated issues that he will hopefully work on moving forward.
