1000-lb Sisters Another actor, Chris Combs, recently got the go-ahead for skin removal surgery, but he may end up regretting the procedure. Chris, 44, made his television debut in 2020 alongside the beloved unscripted series. The show focuses on the weight loss journeys of sisters Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton, but several of their other siblings also play important roles, including Chris.
When he started his weight loss journey, Chris weighed over 450 pounds. Accomplishing her famous siblings in her health and fitness goals inspired Chris to do the same. The journey has not been easy and he has had his ups and downs. After bariatric surgery, he lost a significant amount of weightwhich left her with a lot of loose excess skin. After bariatric surgery in 2022, Chris lost 150 pounds and weighed 300 pounds at his last weigh-in. His doctor, Dr. Eric Smithposted an amazing before and after on Chris’ Instagram in March. On the other side is a picture of Chris before he lost weight, and on the right is a recent photo of Chris finishing a 5km run. When Chris stepped on the scale a 1000-lb Sisters season 6 weigh-in, she was shocked to learn that she was on the platform.

He wanted to lose a lot more weight
During 1000-lb Sisters season 6, Chris weighed 299 pounds, so he had only lost 1 pound since his last weigh-in. Despite the disappointing setback, Chris lost an incredible 150 kilos after she started her weight loss journey. Like several of his siblings, Chris is desperate to get rid of all the excess skin left over from his rapid weight loss and was shocked when his doctor said he wanted Chris to lose another 60 pounds first.

He should think twice
Despite the plateau, Chris got back on track. During a later episode 1000-lb Sisters in season 6 Chris met a plastic surgeon who agreed to do the surgery if Chris lost another 20 pounds. Although Chris is excited about the skin removal surgery, it is an expensive and painful procedure with no guarantees.
