Lidl and Aldi have launched a back-to-school deal for parents, offering a complete uniform for just £5. The popular supermarkets have launched their incredibly affordable uniforms, promising to outfit children aged four to 12 years old for less than £10.
Aldi has chosen to maintain the price of their Specialbuy uniforms for the third consecutive year. Parents will be thrilled to discover they can purchase a sweatshirt for £1.50, two polo shirts for £1.75, a girl’s pleated skirt for £1.75, boys’ trousers for £1.75 and boys’ cargo shorts for £1.75.
Every Thursday and Sunday, the store’s Middle Aisle is brimming with deals, and regular customers know that once the products are sold out, they’re gone for good. The range is available from July 4 as part of a Specialbuys promotion, so bargain hunters will need to act fast.
This year, Aldi is offering a variety of colours and sizes, ensuring families can find something to meet any uniform requirement. The store’s back-to-school Specialbuys also include some new items this year, such as several styles of leather school shoes for only £6.99, tights for £3.99, a five-pack of socks for £2.49, jersey pinafores for £7.49 and jogging bottoms for £6.99.

Kids can pick their choice of stationary for the new school year at Lidl with two packs of notebooks for £2.99 and a gel pen set for £3.99. Lidl’s offering also went on sale on July 4 so shoppers will need to hurry to nab a bargain before they’re all gone.

The average cost of compulsory secondary school uniform and sportswear items for a child starting secondary school in England in 2023 was £96.24 per pupil, according to The Schoolwear Association.
