‘Long-legged girlies’ have been rushing to ASOS to snap up a pair of celeb-approved linen trousers that are the perfect length for taller shoppers. The high street find was spotted by Made In Chelsea star Zara McDermott, who loved them so much she snapped them up in four colours.
The former Love Island star-turned-documentary maker took to Instagram Stories to rave about the Cotton On drawstring straight leg trousers in white linen saying how they’re “perfect for the long-legged girlies”. Zara, who is 5’7” styled the trousers with a bold red cardigan layered over a white tank top, giving the look less of a beachy effect, OK reports.
She added: “I have been looking for linen trousers that are long enough. I finally found ones that are long enough for me! Just ordered in three more colours.”

Zara then goes on to link the Cotton On drawstring straight leg trousers, which cost £30. The pair also come in a taupe shade on the ASOS website but they also come in a range of shades and patterns on the Cotton On website including a soft green stripe and a caramel brown.
Linen trousers are perfect for the summer months as they’re cool and comfortable to wear. Paired with some chunky dad sandals, a cami top and a pair of oversized sunglasses, they make for a laid-back weekend look or beach-ready outfit. However, the only problem may be that, since they’re so great for taller wearers, more petite shoppers may find them too long.
While these ones have an elasticated waist, New Look’s Linen-Blend Wide Leg Tailored Trousers have a smarter feel to them, ideal for the office. Costing £34.99, the white version of the trousers were seen on Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle, who styled them with the matching white linen blazer .
