There are still some tickets left
Deftones are crashlanding in London next week as part of the alt-rock band’s mega UK arena tour. The American group will perform hits from their 10th studio album, Private Music, as well as beloved fan favourites, at The O2 on Friday, December 20.
First formed in California in 1988, the foursome has gone on to sell over 10 million records, garnered billions of streams, and wowed music lovers around the world. They’ve even gone on to score a Grammy award, a rare achievement in the nu metal genre.
The UK tour marks their first trip across the pond since a headline gig in Crystal Palace Park in June 2025, with Weezer and High Vis. They were scheduled to play Glastonbury last summer but were forced to pull out at the last minute amid illness. As such, fans have big expectations for the upcoming show. Here’s what you need to know.
When are Deftones playing London?
Deftones are in town for one night only – Friday, December 20. They’ll then head up to Manchester and Glasgow on the final leg of the UK tour.
Doors to the London show will open at 6.30pm, with the main act taking to the stage at around 9.15pm. However, The O2’s bars and restaurants are open earlier so there’ll be plenty of time to grab dinner or a pre-show drink.
Who is the support act?
Deftones will be joined by post-hardcore band Drug Church and rapper Denzel Curry as support. They are due to perform at 7pm and 7.55pm, respectively.
