Taste of London food festival June

London is host to some of the world’s top restaurants, serving up flavours from every corner of the globe: so what better way to enjoy them all in one delicious sweep than at the al fresco foodie paradise – Taste of London.

The much loved festival is returning to Regent’s Park from June 17 – 21bringing together some of the city’s most exciting restaurants for five days of feasting and fun. With over 30 restaurants and 130 dishes, you have the chance to sample some of the best food London has to offer, all whilst enjoying the immaculate summer vibes.

So gather your appetite and read on to get a taste of the top-notch restaurants that are waiting for you this year, along with another fantastic programme of culinary experiences, interactive workshops and live entertainment.

Where to Eat

Every summer, Taste of London brings together the city’s most beloved neighbourhood heroes, fantastic fine dining experiences and hot new openings, making for a truly unrivalled five days of eating and drinking.

Some exciting spots making their festival debut this year include the show stopping Italian Harry’s, award winning Cantonese spot Hakkasan and vibrant Mexican bites from Ixchel.

The year’s roster of course wouldn’t be complete without the return of festival favourites: Mexican and Japanese fusion from The Mochisstreet food legends Roti Kingas well as irresistible Italian fare from Rondo.

But it doesn’t end there! The iconic Knightsbridge Italian Salt and PepperChilean fine dining MareidaSyrian AramMediterranean Gallio and Michelin star-winning pub Prince Arthur, Belgravia are also making their debut on the festival line-up.

What to do

And it’s not just your appetite and taste buds that will be satisfied – you might also walk away with new skills. Between bites, visitors can take part in demos and live masterclasses with some of the city’s top chefs – all included in the cost of your ticket.

For flame-fuelled demonstrations, head to The Fire Pit which will be hosted by rapper and gourmet enthusiast Big Zuu, award-winning cook and writer Melissa Thompsonand other big industry names who will be announced soon.

Over at the BBQ Cook Schoolyou’ll find Nathaniel Mortley, better known as Natty Can Cookthe South London-based chef who transformed his life through cooking after serving time in prison. 2210his restaurant in Herne Hill, serves imaginative and elevated pan-Carribean dishes that have put his name well and truly on the map.

Wine lovers are in for a treat this year too. The year’s Taste Sessions with The Royal Parks will host masterclasses and thought-provoking talks shining a spotlight on sustainability. You can hear from innovative producers including Wasted Wine Club, Inflorescence Wines and Find & Foster Cider.

With over 160 artisan producers and exhibitorsTaste is also the place to discover new brands and walk home with epic finds – bringing together the latest and greatest in food, drink, innovative health products, and more.

Where to Drink

You won’t go thirsty as Taste of London takes its drink offerings just as seriously as the food. In fact, this year’s sponsor is the favourite wine The Old Farmthe nation’s favourite rosé, better known by its affectionately given name, “chicken wine” – so there’ll be plenty of the beloved pink flowing throughout the festival.

If wine isn’t your beverage of choice, Jack Daniel’s will be bringing a taste of Tennessee to the party. The whiskey brand will be debuting its brand-new Blackberry and Lemonade cocktail for the first time in the UK – serving up refreshing sips and good vibes. Mastercard cardholders are in for a special treat as well, with exclusive hands-on Jack Daniel’s cocktail making workshops. Whatever your go-to tipple, there are plenty of spots across the festival where you can just hang out and soak up the vibes with a drink in hand.

Taste of the City

As a warm-up to the main festival, you’ll have a chance to celebrate the city’s diverse culinary landscape with Taste of the Citya brand new event series. You can bag tickets to one of a kind foodie moments across the capital from 15 June. Highlights include a seven-day-long feasting event with new chefs taking residence each day and presenting a menu that represents both their culinary and personal upbringing.
