Olympian Gus Kenworthy and Drag Race UK star Sally have joined the producing team of Sam Morrison’s Sugar Daddy.
Edgewood Entertainment has announced that Kenworthy and Sally have joined the previously confirmed co-producers Alan Cumming and Billy Porter, expanding the creative team behind Morrison’s acclaimed solo show ahead of its Off-West End season at Underbelly Boulevard Soho.
Kenworthy recently discussed his involvement in an interview with TNT Sports. He said: “I saw this show and it’s incredible. It’s really funny, it’s really heartfelt…I was just deeply, deeply moved by it and was just like, ‘How can I be involved?’”. “I have a platform and I would love to help amplify this show”.

He joins the production as a co-producer while also competing for Team GB in the Men’s Freeski Halfpipe competition on Thursday 19 February from 9.30am GMT.
Sally, known for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and for their work as a diabetes campaigner, also joins the producing team. Sharing a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis with Morrison, Sally will appear with him at a press event at Underbelly Boulevard Soho on Thursday 19 February at 4pm.
The event will include a video welcome from co-producer Alan Cumming, remarks from Morrison and director Amrou Al-Kadhi, a live teaser performance and further press opportunities.
Sugar Daddy recounts Morrison’s own story of queer love, loss and a diabetes diagnosis. After meeting the “sexy silver zaddy” of his dreams, the relationship was cut short when his partner died during the pandemic. Morrison turned his grief into comedy, performing the work around the world.
