From Michael Ilesanmi 90 day fiance hints at money problems, and I’m starting to believe that Angela Deem was right when she accused Michael of being a murderer. As much as I hate to admit it, I now understand what Angela meant when she claimed Michael was a fraud who tricked her into marriage. I’m not a fan of Angela at allbut I don’t think I’m Team Michael either. I’ve watched both of their stunts on various shows for almost a decade and I don’t want to support either of them in what they do.

However, I know there is more to Michael than meets the eye. Angela spent years of her life and even a lot of money she didn’t have to bring Michael to America. Still, no amount of Angela’s malevolence toward her runaway husband could stop fans from feeling bad for her. Michael was smart enough to tap into all of their emotions. He struck while the iron was hot and got the show’s viewers to finance his new life in America. unfortunately I think Michael has a greedy sidewhich is why he stayed with Angela.

Michael has been growing his Instagram following slowly and steadily by creating content like Reels of him dancing. However, I feel like Michael is also running out of ideas on what to post. Because Michael wants to be an influencer, he posts very little on Instagram. He has a manager and a PR team and still puts out the occasional video every few weeks doesn’t really explain what his content is about. I think Michael should take the time to decide his niche as an influencer. He doesn’t know what effect he has on his fans.

However, I have noticed that Michael spends time posting passive-aggressive stories to see Angela on IG. Michael thinks he’s sending a message about his life every time he posts a scroll or a message made by someone else to his story. He hopes fans will put two and two together and understand what his life is like in the US through his posts. I think these days even Angela is tired of shadowing Michael and accepting his beliefs. Secondly Michael is still milking just as much sympathy than he can get from the fans.

Recently, my attention was drawn to Michael, who announced that he was having money problems. Michael reposted the video on his Instagram Story @kducketts__ where a man is shown recounting previously counted dollar bills symbolizing financial struggles. Although Michael didn’t specifically mention it, he seemed to relate in the video’s caption, “how does my budget start from January 1st.” Michael wanted the Followers to think he was literally broke, while the world around him expected him to celebrate his first Christmas and New Year’s Eve single with great glee.

Michael’s repost made me wonder what happened to the $52,000 he had raised through GoFundMe. That was in August 2024 and not long ago. Michael’s original request was $50,000 but when he saw comments from critics asking why he needed so much money, he quickly changed the goal to $25,000, thinking no one would notice. After raising $10,000 within hours of launching the fundraiser, Michael got greedy. He knew the fans would eventually give him the amount he asked for. Michael left the GoFundMe running.

Michael had initially claimed that he needed the money for his legal expenses. Considering he only wanted $25,000, fans gave Michael goodwill for his personal needs. Michael tried to claim he started the GoFundMe for Angela. It came after it was revealed that Angela had taken him to court to have their marriage annulled. Angela saw what Michael did early on. Of course, Angela had been with Michael for over seven years, even though she kept a lot of secrets from him. Angela could tell what she had.

As far as I can tell, Angela didn’t make Michael live in poverty while he was in Nigeria. Angela apparently got Michael to quit his job because they were making enough to make ends meet through the show. Angela sent Michael a steady stream of money when he still lived in Lagos. Michael had a car and a house and wore stylish clothes and never cried about money problems. Michael even had extra money that he put into a piggy bank system “a rainy day” without informing Angela.

Angela never let her husband suffer financially while they were together. Michael didn’t bother to give his fans an explanation of what he did with the money from the piggy banks if it had occurred to him while doing fundraisers. Michael moved to Texas and already lived in a clean and spacious apartment right after leaving Georgia. Michael was not on the streets with nowhere to go as he tried to escape Angela. I believe Michael had enough money even then, months before GoFundMe came into the picture, to pay for a nice house.

Since then I have a feeling that Michael moved into his own apartment, which he does not share with anyone. The apartment is fully furnished with everything Michael needs to spend a relaxing day at home. His rooms look spacious and clean, and the apartment is well maintained compared to what Michael had to deal with at Hazlehurst. How can Michael afford such a nice space if he’s pinched pennies? Michael cries that he has no money to call in 2025, but his house says otherwise.

Michael wants to live life King Size – at someone else’s expense

Angela and her cast friends like Loren Brovarnik and Scott Wern, had previously hinted that Michael bought himself a new car with the money he raised through GoFundMe. Although I know he didn’t sin by getting himself a car, but since it’s a necessity, he could have bought a modest ride and not a Mercedes. Michael only wants the best for himself, but wants to appear as if he’s struggling to make ends meet. Michael seems to think he’s hinting that he’s having money problems again, and fans would once again rush to his aid.

As far as I know, Michael hasn’t talked about another job except for his work as an influencer right now, which helps him earn. If Michael has already exhausted his GoFundMe funds, it’s probably time for him to start another fundraiser to raise more money. 90 day fiance fans. I’m afraid Michael has spent all the money and doesn’t know any other way he can earn more than taking it from his fans, which has left him crying poor on Instagram.
