New Look shoppers are loving a new ‘non iron’ dress they say “looks more expensive” than it was. The fashion retailer has launched the online exclusive dress in two colours and shoppers have been quick to snap up both.
The Bright Orange Plissé Halter Maxi Dress, which is also available in blue, is priced at £29.99. It has proven popular with shoppers, with many claiming it is “perfect for holiday” and ideal fabric for packing in a suitcase.
The dress is an online exclusive and features plissé fabric in bright orange, with a maxi length, halter neckline, and a side split. The New Look description reads: “Falling to an elegant maxi length with a side split for added glamour, your summer occasion-wear wardrobe is calling out for this orange halter dress.”
The New Look dress has an overall rating of 4.9 stars online, having racked up a number of rave reviews. Among them, one shopper said: “Perfect for holiday. Really nice dresses, great colours and perfect fabric for putting in a suitcase.”
A second wrote: “Wee last minute chuck into the basket at a bargain price. This dress is absolutely stunning. Looks way more expensive than it was. So comfy! Might try a little gold belt.”

However, one shopper claimed the dress was ‘shapeless’. They added: “Lovely dress, but quite shapeless. I have added a thin silver or black belt and think it looks better with that. It is quite long, but with heels will be fine.”
New Look is also stocking the Olive Satin Scoop Neck Midaxi Slip Dress, which is priced at £33.99. The dress has an overall rating of 4.8 stars, having racked up a number of rave reviews. Among them, one person said: “Gorgeous dress. Lovely dress, beautiful material, hangs really nice.”
A second wrote: “Really happy with this purchase. Looks so stunning and way more expensive than it is.
