New Look’s £24 ‘slimming’ spring puffer jacket is a great alternative to the pricier North Face jackets. With the temperatures dropping in the next week according to BBC Weather, many are looking for warm and dry jackets. While North Face is a popular choice, their puffer jackets can cost around £200.
But, New Look offers a budget-friendly option. Their Fitted Hooded Puffer Jacket, usually priced at £44.99, is now just £24 in their online sale. This jacket has a flattering fit and v-shaped padding for a slimming effect.
Made from padded shell fabric, it’s designed to keep you dry in the rain. It also features a large hood, long sleeves, and a zip-front fastening. Available in Black or Mink, some fans love it so much they’ve bought both colours.

ASOS has cut the prices of some of its top-selling North Face jackets – but is still way more expensive than the New Look ones. The North Face Belleview stretch down jacket in black, now at £150, down from £250. If you’re after a more casual look, The North Face Ampato quilted liner jacket in brown is now £90, down from £150.
The New Look jacket with a 4.7 out of five stars rating is a hit for its comfy fit and rain resistance. One happy customer said: “Lovely coat I’m only short so perfect length for me. It’s so comfortable and warm and cosy. I have worn it in the rain and it holds up well. Would def recommend and a brilliant price!”
Another shared: “Very nice coat, good quality for price and comfortable. Not too tight on the arms which is something I normally struggle with. The coat moves with you with no restriction.”
