Pixar Mundo is an international travelling exhibition that’s just popped up in a former car park in Wembley.
More than 100,000 tickets were sold in advance for the attraction, which features 14 rooms based on universes created over 40 years by the trailblazing animation studio.
After a quick on screen introduction, you wander through giant sets that put you inside scenes from the movies – to the iconic soundtracks that featured in them.

First off you are at the door to the house in Up attached to hundreds of balloons, and once inside you can stand next to retired balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen in his living room or settle into twin armchairs.
Perhaps Pixar’s most iconic movie is Toy Story – with a fifth film due for release in June.
Here we felt toy-sized, dwarfed by the giant set of Andy’s bedroom, next to a box fresh Buzz and Woody.

In the next room we’re among huge paint pots and chairs at Sunnyside Daycare from the third movie.
The chief excitement is the chance to move around – and take selfies – in the very different worlds of the animations across the 3,500 square metre space.
We joined Coco’s grandmother in Mexico, then hit the dance floor in the Land of the Dead, dived under the sea with jellyfish, Nemo and Dory, ate ice-cream in Liguria with Luca, messed around with the characters at Monsters Inc, and tinkered in Flo’s Café with Lightning McQueen from Cars.

A recent Pixar’s hit was Inside Out 2 and the chance to be in the Headquarters of Riley’s emotions with Anxiety, Sadness and Joy was – well a joy.
My teenager had never seen Ratatouille so a quick visit to a Paris restaurant to spot a certain rodent made us want to revisit the movie together.
In fact the walk-through attraction is a bonding experience for parents who have enjoyed these movies with their kids over the years.

Of course there’s plenty of merch to buy in the shop at the end, and another chance to buy a photo with your favourite character.
But fans of the movies will come away with plenty of snaps and treasured memories of their own.
Mundo Pixar Experience is now open until June in Fulton Road, Wembley Park. Tickets start from £22 from mundopixar.com
