Fragrance lovers raved about Sol de Janeiro’s new perfume as “heaven in a bottle” as it launched online earlier this week.
Following the success of “Brazilian Bum Bum Cream”, the cult-favourite skin and bodycare brand has added a new member to their popular Cheirosa family lineup.
Introducing the Cheirosa 48 perfume mist, a tropical perfume spray infused with juicy notes of guava nectar, coconut water, pink musk and zesty lemon. Packaged in a lovely pink bottle, the new Sol de Janeiro addition is compared to a new update to its limited edition “Bikini Season”.

The brand added: “Bikini Season starts now! Our juicy and tropical summer limited edition mist is back permanently with a new name… Cheirosa 48! Besties, we might go so far as to say this is the new scent of the summer. It’s that good!”
The number, 48, is chosen to celebrate the liberating energy of 1948 when the bikini was first spotted in Brazil, the perfume mist cloaks your hair and skin in a delectable, tropical fragrance reminiscent of sun-soaked days during bikini season.
We love the sweet, fruity smell of the uplifting scent and it smells divine with sunlit orchid and musky guava nectar. It’s less overwhelming than the bestselling Cheirosa 62, a vanilla-based perfume with salted caramel and pistachio.
