M&S shoppers are loving a £99 dress which they say is well worth the cost. The Pure Cotton Mini Utility Shift Dress by Jaeger comes in mauve and at the time of writing can be snapped up in every size ranging from 10 to 20.
On its website M&S says: “It’s cut in a comfy relaxed fit, with a neat collared neckline and a buttoned front. Chest pockets and short cuffed sleeves give a classic workwear-inspired look.”
The dress could be styled with a pair of gleaming white, timeless white Nike Air Force 1’s. The M&S dress is so popular however that people have raved about it in the comments section.

One shopper penned: “I found this a perfect fit for my usual size. It’s a gorgeous colour, not really mauve, more of a dusky pink shade. I’m 5’3” and it’s above the knee but not too short. I was lucky enough to find this in store but once seen I wasn’t going to leave it behind! Love the way Jaeger has modernised its collection. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment on that.”
While a second commented: “Cute dress and excellent fit. Colour is also nice. Definitely worth the money.”
While a third raved: “I found this a perfect fit for my usual size.
However it wasn’t for everyone. One disgruntled shopper said: “I tried this on in-store. I am a straight forward 12 in Jaeger dresses. It was far too tight. Material would have benefited with some elastane, even g I went up a size it is not going to be comfortable in particular across the chest and shoulder. This was 1 of many items I tried including linen suits which again I am a 10 or 12. Had to go to 14 in jacket and 16 in trousers. I don’t particularly care what the label says but inconsistent sizing is just poor.”
And ASOS is selling something similar. The denim belted utility dress with detachable pockets can be bought either in black, or light blue. It costs £45 and has a regular fit.
