Uniqlo New Store London

UNIQLO in Covent Garden has been temporarily closed since the end of February, whilst undergoing a rather extensive makeover – and from 10am on March 26 the doors will re-open, unveiling all of the new changes.

We’ve always known and loved UNIQLO for its long-lasting, timeless wardrobe staples, but the renovated Covent Garden store has a lot more on offer than just shopping. With 30% more floor space, the store continues to house a range of unique offerings, as well as more fitting rooms, self-checkout stations, and staffed tills, making for an even smoother shopping experience.

On the second floor you’ll find the UTme! station, where t-shirts and tote bags can be customised with personalised designs. At the RE.UNIQLO Studio, customers are also invited to recycle, remake and repair their favourite UNIQLO items. In the spirit of their LifeWear philosophy, the RE.UNIQLO Studio helps to support sustainability by encouraging shoppers to extend the life of their wardrobe and be more mindful about fashion choices (whilst still looking fabulous, of course!)

Shopping can be thirsty work, and UNIQLO’s first UK Japanese tea room Katsute100 is the perfect place to take a pause and enjoy a loose leaf tea or a sweet treat. Situated on the top floor of UNIQLO Covent Garden, the Katsute100 tea room overlooks the historic Carriage Hall space in the store with distinctive Japanese timber inspired furniture and vintage Japanese wooden slatted screens.

UNIQLO’s Kids and Baby ranges will now be included in the larger store, along with the latest Roger Federer collection which launches on the reopening day. And keep your eyes peeled for the third wave of the UNIQLO and Transport for London partnership, available to shop exclusively at the UNIQLO Covent Garden store from March 26.

To celebrate the UNIQLO Covent Garden store reopening, there will be a number of special promotions and events on offer – from traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances, goody bags for the first 100 customers spending £60 or more – and even the chance to win a trip to Japan with the UNIQLO app!
