Gisèle Pelicot, who inspired millions of people with her courage and dignity by waiving her right to anonymity during a rape trial where her husband and 50 other men were accused of sexual assault, is launching her memoir A Hymn to Life: Shame Has to Change Sides at the Royal Festival Hal.
At the UK launch of the book, she’ll tell her story and share her call for shame to change sides in cases of sexual abuse. Journalist writer and broadcaster Samira Ahmed, with readings from the book by Juliet Stevenson, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas and Kate Winslet. There are just a few tickets left for what it sure to be a powerful and moving evening.
