Matt Luscombe has been appointed CEO of Freemans Events Partners because the business in family ownership will set its attraction to reach a turnover of £ 200 million in the next few years.
Prior to moving to Freemans, LusCombe served as CEO of the Coles Group and Managing Director of Cycas Hospitality at the Intercontinental Hotels Group.
He cooperates closely with current CEO Stephen Freeman, who will move on to the role of CEO as the company strives to triple annual turnover in accordance with its new five -year strategy.
The event Caterer announced a turnover of £ 60.4 million and a profit of £ 2,8 million in its financial results, ending January 31, 2024.
Luscombe said, “I’m happy to take the reins and guide the company so exciting that it will start its next expansion phase. In 1975, the Freemans Events Partners founded Stephen Freema’s older as one of the fish and chip shops in the Silverstone area, which is still a partner to the venue to this day.
Since then, it has expanded into a larger catering operation of the event, which is collaborating with prestigious places such as Wembley Stadium, Jockey Club, Lord’s Cricket Ground and European tour.
