Bryce Pritchett showcased his £4 Too Good To Go haul from Camden convenience store, Stoord – but the contents of the mystery bag left him frustrated and unsure what to do with the goods
Everyone appreciates a bargain, particularly when it comes to food. Since the introduction of Too Good To Go in the UK in 2016, many of us have become hooked on the discounted food scheme.
Too Good To Go is an app that enables supermarkets, shops, cafes, and restaurants to sell food close to its sell-by or use-by dates, which would otherwise have been wasted, at lower prices. The contents of the bags is normally a surprise, with customers unsure what they will receive when placing an order. A London customer who recently picked up such a bag praised it as the “heaviest ever” before inspecting its contents.
Bryce Pritchett took to TikTok to showcase his bounty after collecting a bag from a popular convenience store chain. “This bag is from Stoord in Camden and it cost me £4,” he said. “It’s the heaviest I have ever had.”
Firstly, he extracted a large leek, which had been protruding from the top of the bag itself. “I don’t know what to do with it, but feel like I could hit a baseball with it,” he joked.
Next, Bryce unveiled a pastry, something he said the staff at Stoord had put in the bag on his arrival. “I thought it was very nice of them,” he commented as he dug in. “That is amazing.”
The Too Good To Go bag also held a 400g pack of five per cent lean beef steak mince, broccoli, and, intriguingly, four pints of milk.
“Is this why the bag was so heavy?” Bryce pondered with a look of exasperation. “Oh my gosh. Please tell me this is not just filled with more pints of milk!”
Regrettably, his apprehensions soon became a reality, as the remaining six items in the bag were all indeed, pints of milk, totalling 10. “What am I going to do with that?” Bryce queried his followers. “Was this worth it? Or did we get scammed?”

Responding, one TikTok user suggested: “Broccoli and leek soup with a large glass of milk.”
A second person counselled Bryce: “Remember you can freeze milk save it going to waste.”
A third concurred: “Butter, yoghurt, freeze it for future use, lots you can do and make with it. You can use that leek add some potatoes and protein and use some milk for a cream soup.”
However, a fourth criticised: “That’s disgusting though! They knew what they were doing!”
