Twice a year, pop music heads around London and beyond are treated to a huge day out filled with some of the biggest artists around. The Christmas jingle bell ball is a while off, but we’re inching ever-closer to Capital’s Summertime Ball, which has just announced its first wave of artists.
This year, the big old dance will be headlined by Mariah Careywhich will mark the icon’s first concert in London (and indeed, the whole UK) for six years, having last performed at the Royal Albert Hall back in May 2019.

The lineup was confirmed live on radio this morning, and tomorrow we’ll be treated to the exact same thing, with a second wave of artists announced for the big day out.
How to get tickets to the Capital Summertime Ball
Tickets to Capital’s Summertime Ball go on general sale this Wednesday, April 30 at 9am, and will be available via the Global Player application, which is recommended to be downloaded in advance. Barclaycard holders will also be able to access a pre-sale for the event, which commences tomorrow (April 29) at 9am.
