‘They are super comfy, I am on my feet at work all day, they are great’
A pair of trainers is earning rave reviews at Marks and Spencer. The Leather Side Detail Trainers cost £49.50 and come in four colourways: beige mix, black mix, brown, and bayleaf. The shoes come in sizes three to eight, with some half-sizes also available.
The trainers are made with a lace-up fastening and feature a contrast side detail. There’s a flat heel with Freshfeet technology designed to minimise odour, and an Insolia Flex insole made to improve the foot’s natural rotational movement. The whole shoe is made of leather.
Alternatively, you can try the Artea Leather Trainers, which are £89 at Jones Bootmaker. Similar to Marks and Spencer’s trainers, the shoes are made of leather and have contrast details.

On the cheaper side, there’s the Seco Speed White Combination Leather Trainers for £30 at Clarks. They come in six different colour combinations and are currently 50 per cent off.
Back at Marks and Spencer, their trainers have 4.7 stars from 348 reviews. One person said: “I have these trainers in five different colours. Love them. Very comfortable and lightweight to wear.”
Another wrote: “Really love the colour and style. Comfortable, snug fit with a nice bit of underfoot padding. Perfect as we enter the spring. Feels substantial. The pink is a little pinker than I would normally wear but hey ho, let’s push the boundaries a little.”
“I have had several pairs of these trainers,” a third said. “They are super comfy, I am on my feet at work all day, they are great.”
Another shopper gushed: “Great trainers! Took them to Orlando to do the parks and didn’t rub and felt very supported when on my feet all day!”
A few shoppers did complain the shoes were less than comfy. One of them wrote: “The inner sole is bumpy and uncomfortable. Not M&S ’s finest work at all. Disappointing.”
But another happy shopper said: “Premium-looking trainers at a great price. Super comfy. What’s not to love about them.”
