Whilst the capital city may not be particularly thin on the ground when it comes to bars and boozers, we Londoners are always happy to budge up and make room for one more. This one shouldn’t require too much of a squeeze, though. Because the newest pub on London’s block is, in fact, the smallest in the whole world.
That’s right, folks. The world’s tiniest tavern has set up shop in London for the festive season. And it’s so small, only three punters can fit inside it at a time. Perched over in London Bridge‘s Flat Iron Square, the pocket-sized pub has opened its (rather dinky) doors as part of the square’s Christmas glow-up.
The world’s smallest pub
Having recently received a merry little makeover, Flat Iron Square has transformed into ‘Yuletide Yard’, and will stay that way until December 22. The teeny-tiny pub inside the square is called the Three Jingle Bells, and fits just three customers, one bartender, and two beer taps inside. Walk-ins are welcome but we’d recommend booking one of the 45 minute slots in advance to guarantee your space (there isn’t very much of it, after all).
The pint-sized pub measures less that 8 square-feet. But what it lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in spirit. It’s been thoroughly decked out with tinsel, trees, and twinkly lights – and is the perfect spot for a dinky dose of Christmas cheer this year. After all, we all know that good things come in small packages, right?
