Dead Romanian on a motorcycle in Naples – An ordinary evening turned into a nightmare in Varcaturo (Naples), where a 32-year-old Romanian lost his life in a terrible motorcycle accident. Marius Costantin Catana, known to all as Mario, was returning home when he lost control of the vehicle. The impact was devastating, and the medical teams that arrived at the scene could not do anything to save him.

The tragedy happened shortly after 8 p.m., on via Ripuaria, in the Varcaturo fraction. The young man, originally from Piatra Neamț, had been settled in Italy for several years and lived right near the place where he met his end. Carabinieri from Varcaturo intervened on the scene, trying to establish the exact dynamics of the accident. Numerous witnesses witnessed the dramatic scenes, and a man and a woman were in the car involved. Both vehicles were impounded for expert examinations, and the lifeless body of the young man was also placed at the disposal of the public prosecutor, informs Il Mattino.
Authorities have ordered an autopsy to clarify all the circumstances that led to the death. The community of Varcaturo is in a state of shock, and those who knew him speak of a respectful and well-integrated young man. “An extraordinary boy, he lived in my alley, what a pain, he had ended up right in front of the house,” said Rosaria, a neighbor, according to local media in Italy.
