Girls in Year 6 have sat their 11+ senior school entrance examinations and are looking forward to taking a break while skiing in Switzerland next month!

They have recently enjoyed a day of practice and developing skills at the Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
Other highlights of the term so far have included our annual Bake Competition and Sale, raising money for our current charity partner Centrepoint.

This year’s theme for Careers Week was forensics, and we were thrilled to welcome a former Met Police Forensic Practitioner (CSI) for the ultimate forensic experience.
Girls across all year groups were able to investigate a crime scene, analyse their own fingerprints and DNA, and even search for hidden clues while trying to solve the case.

We also celebrated Mary Ward Day on the 441st birthday of our pioneering founder.
Mary Ward was a transformational advocate for women’s education, freedom and justice. She established many girls’ schools across Europe and was venerated in 2009.

We fittingly marked the occasion by dressing in our party clothes for the annual Mary Ward Disco!
It has been a joyful and energetic start to 2026, and we look forward to sharing many more moments of learning, achievement and celebration with our community later this year.
