Linkin Park have announced they are reuniting, seven years after the death of their lead singer Chester Bennington. The group’s line-up now includes original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, Joe Hahn, along with new singer Emily Armstrong from the rock band Dead Sara and drummer Colin Brittain.
And this news does not come alone, as the artists have also announced a new album, to be released on November 15, and a world tour. Starting this month in Los Angeles, the From Zero tour will see Linkin Park play six dates in the US, Germany, South Korea, Colombia and England.
They will stop at London’s The O2 Arena on Tuesday, September 24. Fans will be able to access pre-sales from 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12.
General tickets go on sale Friday, September 13 at 10.00 – you will be able to get them through Ticketmaster. Speaking about the new era, Mike Shinoda said: “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero.
“This album title refers to both these humble beginnings and the journey we’re currently on. Sonically and emotionally, it’s about past, present and future – embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life.
“It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and long-time bandmates, our friends, our family and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years and excited about the journey ahead.”
Linkin Park’s final show at The O2 came just 13 days before lead singer Chester Bennington took his own life, in July 2017.
