Bar Daskal is a Spanish wine and cocktail bar located in London Bridge’s Borough Yards.
The bar is named after seafaring artist, Vladimir Daskaloff, who worked under the name ‘Daskal,’ and set up a home and studio in Estellencs, Mallorca after many years at sea.
Daskal was the grandfather of the bar’s owners, Sam Hart and Anna Watkins, who grew up visiting him in Estellencs, and still visit the family home with their own kin to this day.
Daskal and his home inspired an abiding love of Spain, its produce and culture. At Bar Daskal we hope you will find a pocket of that in London.
We offer an exclusively Spanish wine and sherry list and a short list of cocktails made with Spanish spirits.
To eat, there are tapas and snacks, from expertly sourced Spanish jamon and cheeses, to classic tortilla wedges with alioli, and gildas.
Private dining events at Bar Daskal
Upstairs at Bar Daskal can host up to 25 people for a private party with its own bar, or for breakfasts, meetings, lunches or dinners overlooking Park Street.
We also offer exclusive hire of the whole venue for larger celebrations, up to 55 people.
